The season is upon us! The season . . . of reading! I mean, sure, when is it not the season of reading at Chez Day George? (Never, the answer is never.) So as some of you know, I like to set some goals for the summer, like certain books to read, and/or a certain number. This year I’m shooting for a conservative 55 books finished between Memorial Day and Labor Day. As for what kind of books, I not only have three stacks about ten deep on my bedside table, but . . . well, that seems like enough to begin with. And several of those books are set in or are about Scandinavia. Which is not only pertinent to my interests on a normal day, but also very appropriate for this particular summer, since I will be taking a long, and totally awesome, vacation to Iceland, Norway, and other points of Scandi-interest! So the Icelandic Sagas will definitely be in the mix of reading, along with Wild Horses of the Summer Sun, and some other fun books!
But if you are looking for something of mine to read, in particular, something SIGNED, I can certainly help with that! I have just returned from a brief and quite fun tour, and I left so very many signed books in my wake! If you are looking for a signed copy (mostly The Brand New Very Exciting THE QUEEN’S SECRET and the Just As Exciting THE ROSE LEGACY Paperback), you can find them in the following bookshops:
An Unlikely Story, Plainville, Massachusetts
